A pioneering approach to technology combined with visionary media art: The Ars Electronica Center is considered the heart of the UNESCO City of Media Arts – with its annual festival in September and the prestigious Prix Ars Electronica.
The façade of the Ars Electronica Center features 38,500 LED lights that can be controlled independently of one another – resulting in a bright show of colours that lights up the Danube every night.
