Pöstlingberg Mountain

Pöstlingberg Mountain

Pöstlingberg Mountain is a hub of recreation and adventure located right in the heart of the city. It takes just 20 minutes to get from the Main Square to the final stop 539 metres up by rail. Once at the top, you’ll be greeted with a unique view across the entire city, all the way to the edge of the Alps. It’s truly a view that opens up new perspectives and encourages visitors to slow down and take time to enjoy their surroundings.

And children’s eyes will light up when they visit the realm of fairies and dwarves in the Grottenbahn.

The Hartlauer Gallery has created a forum for outstanding photographic achievements, and the pilgrimage church of the Basilica of the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin Mary offers a place of rest for visitors.
